Description: Coral Bells (Heuchera) are popular garden plants due to their versatility. They have interesting foliage that grows in neat mounds, with attractive scalloped leaves. 'Green Spice' has bold green and silver foliage with contrasting purple veins. The pink flowers rise on wiry stems above the foliage, and are bell shaped. All heucheras want well drained soil, and most varieties appreciate at least some shade during the heat of the day. This variety combines well with another Heuchera, 'Obsidian Coral Bells' which brings our the purple veins in the leaves, and 'Japanese Painted Ferns' which also highlights the purple color, and provides textural contrast as well.
