Dwarf Japanese Garden Juniper

Dwarf Japanese Garden Juniper
Botanical Name: Juniperus procumbens 'Nana'
Category: Evergreen Shrubs
Height: 8-10" +
Spread: 3-4' +
Exposure: Sun to light shade
Care: None; may be trimmed to shape if desired
Deer Resistant: Y
Description: One of the best ground-hugging evergreens, it has a dense mound of branches that radiate from the center. It has super tight foliage and lovely bright green color, and has an irregular spreading shape. Perfect with rocks and in rock gardens or around water features. Highly recommended for even tiny gardens; if there’s room for only one Juniper, let it be this one. Junipers are among one of the toughest plants for the landscape. Junipers prefer open, sunny locations in well-drained soils. Once established, junipers need very little supplemental irrigation.
