| Description: | There are many different varieties of Lamium available. The differences are the leaf variegation and size, and the flower color (mostly white or shades of pink). Lamium can be stunning in the spring, but may to look a little tired in the heat of the summer, especially in areas of poor drainage. Lamium prefers a semi-shady dry area with well-drained soil. It is best to cut this plant back after the first bloom to promote compact growth and prevent the summer doldrums. |
