Description:	One of the fastest growing evergreen trees for this area, Leyland Cypress are most often used to create a privacy screen or hedge. It has dense, feathery deep green foliage that looks great all year long. Although adaptable to a wide range of conditions, windy areas should be avoided. As an alternative, we would suggest you consider looking at 'Japanese Cedar', which share many of the same attributes, with a few improvements. Of course, if deer are not an issue for you, the Leyland Cypress may be a fine choice.
