| Description: | Not for the faint of heart, this plant is an AGGRESSIVE spreader. It might have good manners for a year or two, but eventually it wants to take over the garden. Then why do you want to plant it? Attractive, nodding flowers are borne in profusion for a long time, and are excellent for cutting, and it attracts butterflies and other beneficial insects. This is an excellent plant for large areas. Dense growth habit chokes out weeds, and the white blooms combine well with just about anything. You need to stay on top of it, however, and keep a close eye on where it is going! It is great for a meadow garden, a cottage garden or an informal mixed border. |
