Care: Cut to ground in late Fall or Early Spring before new growth begins. If you leave the flower stalks standing over the winter, goldfinches will feed on the seedheads. Deadhead to encourage rebloom and tidy plantings

Description: This hybrid offers a color breakthrough for in coneflowers, with is mango (peachy light orange) flowers. They are fragrant, and large (about 3" across) with slightly recurved petals surrounding a dark cone. They smell lightly of honeysuckle. For an great color combination, pair with 'Sunset Coneflower' and 'Sunrise Coneflower' which will give you an assortment of peachy orange, orange and yellow coneflowers. To finish it off, back them with Agastache 'Black Adder' (info coming soon) and some tall 'Ornamental Grasses' and a Purple 'Butterfly Bush'. Add some 'Coreopsis Zagreb' in front and you have a perennial garden! Plants thrive in average soils or hot, dry conditions; they shrug off winter cold. The cone at the heart of the flower turns black as the seeds mature, adding further interest and providing nourishment for goldfinches over the winter. All Echinaceas make excellent cut flowers.
