| Description: | Cheerful white daisies combine well with just about anything. Slightly shorter than 'Magnus Purple Coneflower', but taller than 'Kim's Knee High Purple Coneflower' they are striking planted together. The flowers are large (about 2-3" across) with slightly recurved petals surrounding a dark central cone. Plants thrive in average soils and hot, dry conditions; they also shrug off winter cold. The cone at the heart of the flower turns black as the seeds mature, adding further interest and providing nourishment for goldfinches over the winter. All Echinaceas make excellent cut flowers. |
